Kate Bellamy

Kate started playing at aged 15 for the Sheffield Women’s Team 1996 for 3 years. The Hillsborough Hawks were an open aged team.

During University at Cambridge, Kate played Union and during a gap year in Perpignan played for Tres Catalan who reached the Challenge Cup Final 2003 at the Narbonne Rugby Union Ground, although they lost to Avingnon 8-6 it was a very close match and a real sporting triumph for Kate.
